The Diffraction User Center (DUC) is part of the High Temperature Materials Laboratory (HTML), which is a DOE User Facility designed to help solve high-temperature materials problems that limit the efficiency and reliability of advanced energy-conversion systems.

The DUC includes both low- and high-temperature X-ray, synchrotron, and neutron diffractometers.
